Whats the difference? 

To tell you the truth, there is no real difference, although flipping a property can really have two meanings.

Flipping or even sometimes called rehabing, is the act of buying a distressed home, fixing it up and selling it for a profit.  According to the Flip this House shows and some of the Guru's, this is what it is.  Maybe, but it also has another meaning.

Some investors - actually, many investors would consider Flipping to be the same thing as wholesaling.  What is wholesaling you might ask.  This is when you put a home under contract and sell your interest in the property to another investor for a finders fee. 

There is another way to wholesale, and that would be to actually go to closing and purchase the property, then turn around and sell it to a investor at the closing table and cash out your finders fee.
